AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Yuval Steinitz, head of Israel’s National Cyber Security Authority, stated that since the outbreak of the conflict, Iran and Hezbollah have significantly increased their coordination, a move occurring within a broader campaign to infiltrate surveillance systems across Israel and gather intelligence to enhance the precision of missile strikes and target identification.
He explained that surveillance cameras have now become a key component of what he described as a “hybrid cyber-physical axis,” where digital data collected from these systems is transformed into actionable intelligence supporting military operations on the ground.
Steinitz added that the current cyber war comprises two distinct types of attacks: direct, state-backed cyber operations conducted by Iran, and decentralized attacks carried out by independent hackers and non-state cyber groups targeting Israeli infrastructure and institutions.
